Magic and Worlds Beyond Worlds

We've announced the Mutants & Masterminds 2007 production schedule up through the release of the Paragons campaign setting late this summer at GenCon 2007, but what's following up on that for the rest of the year? Glad you asked.

Book of Magic
In October of 2007 (in time of Halloween!) we've got the Book of Magic the complete guide to all things magical and mystical in M&M. This book is part genre-guide and part meaty rulebook. Like our other genre guides (Golden Age and Hero High for example), Book of Magic takes a look at the source material, then how you can create those same kinds of characters and stories in your M&M games. It features expansions of magical effects and powers and exploration of the mystical side of things in general, plus a chapter on the Mystic World of Freedom City. By the Capable Computer Keyboard of Carriker! Joseph Carriker, that is, noted d20 author bringing you all the magic.

Worlds of Freedom
Then in time for the holidays we have Worlds of Freedom, the definitive sourcebook of parallel worlds and dimensional travel in the Freedom City campaign setting. In its pages you'll find detailed write-ups of some of the many parallel worlds and other dimensions explored by the heroes of Freedom: from Anti-Earth, where good is evil and evil good to an Earth where the Axis won World War II or a Freedom City that's both strangely familiar and yet different ("ultimately" different, one might say).

Worlds of Freedom also looks at time travel and different time periods, including the American Revolutionary and Civil War eras and into the future of Freedom, from the near-future next generation to the 26th century! Plus there's the exploration of the ultimate threat to all dimensions, the world devouring Terminus and it's master, Omega! That's all coming in Worlds of Freedom in December 2007.

In addition to our new print products, we've got a reprint of the M&M rulebook coming up (where we'll correct all known and outstanding errata, updating the book so it's 100% compatible with the updated M&M Pocket Player's Guide). We also have PDF editions of all our print products plus new electronic products from our publishing partners Ronin Arts (including the launch of Mastermind Magazine with regular M&M articles and support).

We're already looking forward to 2008 and we've got some exciting plans in the works. Mutants & Masterminds keeps going strong, so stay with us. As they say: you ain't seen nothin' yet!
